Pre-COVID19 Free World : Entry 7

Hi, it's me again. It's been a while. I almost forgot that I had a blog. Anyways, let's get straight to the point. Is the world COVID19 free yet? Nope.

The cases around the world are staggeringly high. It's not like the Plague or anything but the people who created it seem to have done a very good job. Either that or they are delaying the solution to this disease on purpose in order to get the final numbers on the number of deaths around the world in order to continue their "Depopulation" plan.

The vaccine is bound to come by next year but it'll mostly be available by 2021 for everyone. Sounds fictional, isn't it? Well, not for me. This is the reality we're living in. But this is not what I wanted to elaborate on today.

The Muslims around the world are subjected to many creative ways of Islamophobia and Oppression (not forgetting the current torture and genocide of the Uiyghur Muslims, May Allah grant them relief) that I always forget who we're dealing with here. Not only that, there is Something new that's been brewing in the Country of the Turks. I'm talking about the Resurrection of the Ottoman Empire by Leader, Erdogan.

You probably might have heard of a TV series that's been gloated on about called "Diliris - Ertugrul" (which translates to "Resurrection - Ertugrul"). This is a TV show about a Turk warrior called Ertugrul who's the son of a Turk leader called "Sulaymaan Shah" who's a very known leader of the "Kayi Tribe" in Anatolia, Turkey.

It's being called a very "inspiring" TV series for the Muslims because it's been so long since the Muslim community got something to look up to for societal confidence and faith because of the show's dramatic way of showing how "Persistent" and "Brave" the founding father of the Ottoman Empire was. Oh, Did I forget to mention? Ertugrul is the founding father of the Ruler of the Ottoman Empire. Fascinating, isn't it?

Now the TV show is very much a PG13 version of Game of Thrones because of its BGM score and the fight scenes and the whole unfolding of the drama. I'll make it clear, I'm not here to give a review of this show. I'm here to point out a truth that no one's pointing out at. This show does not "Represent" the Muslims as a whole perfectly and has dozens of flaws in itself if it claims to be.

The issue I wanted to point out was that, the Ottoman Empire unlike the previous Empires, although it stood for over 600 years, was inflicted with such local interest on politics, economics and power that it slowly sank from being a powerhouse to a weak little government. Let's point out the things that are boasted in the TV show.

1. THE PERFECT TAG:

Seriously? Why is this show hell-bent on tagging the ancestors of the Turks to be Perfect? It's as though they're secretly pushing the Muslim community to accept the Turkish Ancestors as better people. In fact, they are pushing it to the point that they haven't mentioned the Sahabas (The Companions of the Prophet pbuh) which is weird because the Prophet pbuh himself says that after him, his closest companions are the best among people in Early Muslim community. Instead they humiliated the grandson of legendary Salahuddin Ayyubi r.a (who was among the greatest Muslim examples for a Ruler and a Commander) by trapping him in a desperate love story triangle. Disgusting.

2. THE NATIONALISM AGENDA:

Another among the main factors no one points out is the fact that "Turkish History" is being dramatically force-fed to the viewers to turn them into Nationalists. Like I can see through this obvious agenda using a TV series. Which reminds me of a similar Nationalistic ego and superiority the typical  Americans or Indians show. If I didn't make it clear, I'll say it again. Nationalism is a Virus.

3. INSULTING ISLAMIC VALUES:

I don't even need to say it. Majority Turkish ancestors were from the mainstream Islam commonly known as "Sunni" (people of the Sunnah [The original ways]) but later most of their descendants who were obviously misled with their own ideas of "Tasawwuf" that they went into ways of Bid'ah (Innovation). When Muslims hear the word Bid'ah, they label the ones using it to be "Wahhabi" as a criticising label which is confusing because "Al Wahhab" (The Giver of Gifts) is among the 99 attributes of God himself.

Hence the "Sufism" cult was born misleading the Muslims from the real practices to merging music, singing and dancing with Islamic prayers which is obviously haram (forbidden) in Islam. It even spread to India to the point of building "Dargahs" (Shrine) all over India. If you still didn't understand, I'll make it clear, SHRINES ARE HARAM IN ISLAM. ALLAH IS THE ONE IN COMMAND. Not some dead guy under the grave. The main actor doesn't even know the proper procedure for praying. It's cringe watching him do it for the camera.

It was brought by the Turks who have deviated from Mainstream Islam way back even forgetting the rules of their ancestors. In this TV show, Sufism is boasted on as the leading factor for the establishment of the Ottoman Empire which is actually suspicious because the Ottoman society, being from Mainstream Islam always went along with Sufism. Strange.

In conclusion, the TV show "Ertugrul" is a secret Nationalism affiliated agenda by Turkey to win the hearts of the Muslims to interpret Turks as being the Saviour of the Muslims hence having a majority to make themselves seem as the worthy leaders of the Muslims. Nope. Not going to happen.

I'm not a fan of Nationalism. Be it any country. For me my Deen is far superior than weak factors such as Nationalism in which many fall into it as traps made by the governments to use them as slaves or soldiers. And as the legendary Sahaba, Abu Bakr As-Siddiq r.a said, "Knowledge without Action is worthless and Action without Knowledge is useless".

    1. Lool. First off, Thanks for reading the whole of it. I wouldn't expect you to understand if you're a fan boy/girl of the TV show. It makes you very biased and unfair when someone says the truth. In this case, I'd tell you to research it yourself. That's the best way to understand.
